Inventory Control Files <<Back To get the tarred and compressed files for this application click on this link: inventory.tar.gz and download this file to your cgi-bin  directory on your UNIX or LINUX web server. If you are downloading this file to a PC or Mac and then intend to upload it to a UNIX machine, be sure to save the file as inventory.tar.gz, then ftp it as a binary file called inventory.tar.gz. Once the file is in place use the gzip utility to expand the files by typing: gunzip inventory.tar.gz If you don't have this freeware compression utility you can get it at: ftp://ftp.netscape.com/pub/unsupported/gnu/ Once the file is unzipped it will be in this format: inventory.tar To untar this file type the following: tar -xvf inventory.tar The result should be the inventory directory. Please refer to the README file within the inventory directory to properly configure this application.
